Donald G. Jansen, MD

Dr Donald Jansen is a physician board certified in family medicine, obtaining this first in Canada from University of Alberta (and earning a fellowship from the Canadian College of Family Practitioners) and then board certification in the US with the American Board of Family Physicians. He has been an associate professor at the Universities of Alberta, McGill and West Virginia. He first practiced in an inner city setting followed by time in rural and semi-rural areas. For a period he worked as a Medical Director and Vice President with hospital medical staff in credentialing, quality and utilization in the local area and later at UPMC, Pittsburgh. He recently returned to clinical practice with a renewed appreciation to seek autonomy and independence to build a truly patient centered practice.
